Firefighters assist injured man and woman following Milton Keynes crash

Following a crash on the M1 motorway Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service freed a man and a woman who were both left injured by the accident.

The collision took place yesterday (February 4) on the M1 northbound between junctions 13 (Milton Keynes South) and 14 (Milton Keynes).

A spokesperson for the Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "One appliance and crew from Newport Pagnell, one from Broughton, one from West Ashland and an officer attended. Firefighters released a man and a woman, both injured, and left them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service."

At this point there has been no update on the condition of the man and woman.
