Milton Keynes bridge refurb plans could cause motoring chaos
Temporary traffic lights will be put in place to prevent travel on the north side of the bridge - A422 East bound from Chicheley to Bedford.
The work is planned to last for eight to ten weeks throughout August and September.

A single lane will be kept open over the bridge at all times using 24 hour operated two-way temporary traffic lights.
A motorist who regularly uses the bridge, said: “This must impact thousands of people a day and it could go on until November.
“The joke is in the summer months when it’s easier to fix - nothing is happening.”
