Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after road collision

A 53-year-old motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital after being involved in a collision with a car on Saturday afternoon.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following the collision which happened at about 3pm, involving a blue Ford Focus and a blue Kawasaki motorbike on the V10 Brickhill Street, near the junction with Grenville Square in Willen.

The injured man, from Newport Pagnell, was taken by air ambulance to the John Radcliffe Hospital with serious injuries.

PC Ian Leyland, of the Roads Policing Department based in Milton Keynes, is appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw either of the vehicles prior to the collision, to come forward.
