This Sunday, The Silk Road Restaurant launches its new Sunday buffet and in celebration will be donating £1 to Willen Hospice from each customer that dines on the day.
The restaurant which gives customers the option of choosing Indian, Thai and Chinese food – a common debate in most households – will give customers even more to choose from each Sunday with over 40 items to sample.
As well as raising money for the local charity, the restaurant will be putting on a free children’s bouncy castle, plus under sevens can eat for free and under 10’s can dine for the reduced price of £4.95. The price per head for adults is £9.95.
Co-owner Samad has a personal affiliation with Willen Hospice through his late father and wanted to mark his new offering with a special appeal for the charity. He said: “The work Willen Hospice does is incredibly important but they need money to keep going, we look forward to helping as much as we can with the help of our customers.”
