Two arrested in connection with knife attack

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of robbery after an incident yesterday evening where a (3/4).

The arrests are in connection with a robbery in Leon Recreation Ground in Queensway at about 4.20pm, where a 14-year-old boy was approached by two older teens that threatened him with a knife and stole his phone.

The boy returned home, where he called the police who then attended the scene and carried out a search of the area.

An 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy have been arrested in connection with the incident and are currently in police custody at this time.
