Two men suffer serious injuries in road traffic collision

Two drivers suffered serious injuries in a road traffic collision in Olney on Monday morning.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to the collision which occurred on the A428 Bedford Road, close to the Warrington crossroads roundabout, at 7.37am.

The incident involved a blue Ford Focus and a white Volkswagen Caddy van.

The driver of the Ford Focus, a 29-year-old man, was taken to the Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry with serious leg injuries.

The driver of the white Volkswagen Caddy van, a 43-year-old man, was taken to the same hospital with serious leg and chest injuries.

Police would like to speak anyone who may have seen the collision, or members of the public who may have seen either vehicle shortly before the collision.
