Two Milton Keynes multi millionaires have made it onto the Midlands Asian Rich List.

Has Modi, who owns the Jardines chain of pharmacies, is worth a total of £40 m.

Raja Rizwan Iqbal runs Choice Waste Management at Kiln Farm and is worth £18m.

The hard-working pair are among 51 Asian businessmen featured on the annual Rich List, which was published this week.

The combined worth of all 51 is a cool £3.89 billion.

Mr Modi, who is pictured during a campaign to save one of his pharmacies, also owns Zeroshift Transmissions Ltd in Furzton and the Hintleshaw Hall Hotel in Ipswich.

Mr Iqbal owns Choice Holdings UK Ltd, which includes several companies involved in recycling and cutting down waste.

Choice Waste Management specialises in recyclable materials while Choice Packaging Solutions is committed to sending zero packaging waste to landfill. Both companies are based at Kiln Farm.

Both men have been praised for their “enterprising” spirit” by the publishers of the Rich List.
