Two seriously injured after collision

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a serious injury collision which happened just outside Winslow.

The incident happened on the B4033 Great Horwood Road at around 6pm on Wednesday.

A black Peugeot 308 GT and a blue Mazda 323, believed to be travelling in opposite directions, were involved in a collision on a bend.

The driver of the Peugeot, a 46-year-old woman, was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital with minor injuries and was kept in overnight for observations. The driver of the Mazda, a 44-year-old woman, was taken to the JR2 Hospital with life changing injuries and the passenger from that car, a 21-year-old woman, was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital with a serious facial fracture.
