THE Woburn Sands annual Chilli Festival is set to take place at the weekend.
The event, which runs from Saturday, August 25 to Monday, August 27, will take place at Frosts Garden Centre. It will include exhibitors from all over the country, live Mexican music from ‘Mariachi el Maxicano,’ live cooking domonstrations and products from all around the world.
There will also be children’s entertainment and games taking place throughout all three days, which run from 10am to 4pm.
The free event gives people the chance to take the heat home with some of the world’s hottest chilli plants, including the Naga Bhut Jolokia Chilli and the Trinidad Scorpion, on display to admire and buy.
Frosts challenged Milton Keynes Citizen to take up the Naga Chilli Challenge. Citizen editor Olga Norford tried the Naga Bhut Jolokia Chilli, one of the hottest in teh world measuring over one million on the Scoville scale.
