Flickering lights and furniture moving on its own has left the owner of an Indian restaurant “shocked”.
Ali Ajmol, manager of Calcutta Brasserie in Stony Stratford, has shared the mysterious footage captured on CCTV last week, which has spooked its online viewers.
Ali Ajmol, manager of Calcutta Brasserie, said: “When I arrived at the restaurant that morning I obviously noticed that a few chairs had fallen over, which was strange as I helped to pack up the night before.
“We thought someone was playing a practical joke on us but were shocked at the footage when we checked.
“Calcutta Brasserie is a 17th Century Chapel and we have known of strange noises and goings on for years.”
Paranormal fans may be particularly spooked to see a hand appear on the right-hand side shortly before a menu and two chairs fall to the ground.
The footage has been viewed by over 2000 people in less than a week and everyone is offering their opinion on what they can see.
For Halloween this year, Calcutta Brasserie will be hosting two events. On October 28, movie night is returning for a spooktacular special and will be screening Ghost.
The event is free to attend and popcorn will be provided. On October 30, the restaurant will host one of the best Michael Jackson impersonators in the UK – tickets for the event are £24.95 and will include a drink on arrival and a lavish three-course meal.
