Visiting Bletchley Park costs less if you're from Milton Keynes

Bletchley Park is giving people in the local community the opportunity to discover the Home of the Codebreakers at a discounted rate this summer.

Residents of postcodes MK1-MK19, MK77, LU5-LU7 and HP19-HP23 can take advantage of the 2-4-1 ticket offer, which runs from Wednesday (August 10) to Sunday,September 4 inclusive.

The exhibitions and displays at Bletchley Park have been greatly developed in recent years but not all people living nearby will have had the chance to visit.

The major restoration project completed in 2014 saw the opening of a new visitor centre with a stunning introductory exhibition and the restoration of original wartime huts.

Film lovers can see the exhibition about Oscar winning biopic about Codebreaker Alan Turing, The Imitation Game, in the Mansion before stepping over to Hut 8 to see his real office.

Free guided tours run throughout the day and visitors can also pick up a multimedia guide for children or adults at no extra cost.

Under 12s are admitted free.

Local residents wanting to take advantage of the offer need to print out and complete a form from the website at www.bletchleypark.org.uk/localresidentsoffer and take it to the admissions desk on the day with proof of address such as a driving licence or utility bill.
