Fifteen stylish shoppers at Midsummer Place Shopping Centre caught the eye of a fashion scout and are now in line to win some top prizes.
Midsummer Place’s Street Style campaign kicked off at the weekend and voting is now live on the dedicated Facebook App.
Week one’s 15 finalists need as many votes as possible to increase their chances of being crowned Milton Keynes’ Style Hero, winning £250 worth of prizes and competing in the national competition where they could win a £1,000 shopping spree and become the face of a national intu campaign.
The Midsummer Place Style Hunter will be back on the next two Saturdays (12th and 19th), scouting the malls for inspiring fashionistas.
To find out who the first 15 finalists are and to vote, visit the App: http://stylehero.intucompetitions.co.uk/midsummerplace. There will also be a prize draw for voters with £100 in vouchers to give away. For the latest updates, search for the hash tag: #StreetStyleMK
Midsummer Place Shopping Centre’s spring fashion show also took place at the weekend.
There were 16 inspiring dance shows throughout the day; each one sponsored by one of the centre’s top brands, presenting their latest lines and the hottest looks of 2014.
Prizes on offer saw shoppers walking away with items including a VIP personal shopping experience in Debenhams, a £100 gift card from Timberland, £50 from Jack and Jones and £30 from New Look – to name just a few.
Martin Hindson, general manager, said: “Our spring fashion shows were a hit, we were really pleased to see the crowds gathering around each performance, the dancers made a tremendous effort and definitely put on a good show. These events are such an exciting way of showing what our retailers have to offer.”
