Wallet stolen after man attacked by trio

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in Milton Keynes on Sunday.

At around 10.30pm, the 59-year-old was walking home from central Stony Stratford through the playground off Vicarage Walk, when he felt a man grab him from behind and put his arm around the front of his neck before threatening him.

The robber stole a wallet and ran off towards the playing fields, leaving the victim uninjured.

PC Ison Wharton, investigating the incident, said: “We believe there were three men involved in the robbery. All three are described as approximately 5ft 9ins, between 18 and 25-years-old and with very dark skin.

“I would like to appeal to anyone in the vicinity of Vicarage Road at the time to contact me.”
