Plans to build more than 1,800 homes near Windmill Hill golf course will go on public display next week.
The development, lead by South West Milton Keynes Consortium, is proposed for the Weasel Lane site between Tattenhoe Park and Far Bletchley.
The proposal is to build 1,855 homes, a porportion of which would be affordable. The development would also include an employment area which would bring with it around 1,500 new jobs, a health centre, schools and open areas for recreation.
Richard Astle, a spokesman for the consortium said: “The proposel site has consistently been identified in various studies over the last 20 years, as a suitable location for housing development.
“In advace of a planning application, we are keen to explain our proposals in more detail and hear the views of the community.”
The first exhibition will take place on Saturday, June 8 at Longueville Hall in Newton Longville, with a follow-up exhibition on Friday, June 14 at Chepstow Community Centre in Bletchley from 2pm until 7pm.
