Week of fun and games to mark the Olympics

SPECIAL schools across the city held a week of activities to mark the Olympics and Paralympics.

The fun started on Monday at Campbell Park where pupils from a number of city schools joined together to form the Olympic Rings on the cricket pitch.

They were joined by a number of dignitaries including MP Iain Stewart and Marie Collins OBE, chairman of MK Sport.

Throughout the week the pupils, from Slated Row, Romans Field, The Redway and White Spire schools enjoyed events including trampolining, cycling and basketball.
