ORGANISERS of this weekend’s Buszy Cinema event, the Marvel Collection, invite you to take your own blankets, bean bags and chairs along if you intend to settle back and view.
And we advise you to digest that information and act accordingly, because a whopping day-long session of flicks takes time, and you’ll want to be nice and comfy for the duration.
Sore botties won’t contribute to pleasant film viewing...
The Marvel Collection comprises The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America and Iron Man 1 & 2.
Sunday’s big screen fun starts at 10am and rolls all the way through to 6pm.
Tickets are £3 each, and the bash is suitable for those aged 12 years and above.
A licensed bar and food will be available: “Grab a pint of popcorn, beer or both and take your seat for a whole day of action from a selection of films from one of the greatest collections ever made,” say those behind the bash.
> ALSO at The Buszy this week, the second in the series of OXDOX Cinema screenings – Bil Cunningham New York.
The New York Times snapper chronicles fashion trends, documenting uptown fixtures, downtown eccentrics and everyone in between.
It airs at 8pm tomorrow evening.
> New York in Motion, at 8pm on Tuesday evening, explores the advertisements, music videos, films, billboards and virtual media that comprise the Big Apple’s inexhaustible source of inspiration.
