A competition that called on cyclists to photograph MK’s unique spots for cyclists has announced its winners.
During October the council enouraged people to get out on their bikes and take photos that showed how great Milton Keynes is for cyclists with the city’s unique Redway network, parks and woodland and interesting sights.
15 of the best photos were shortlisted and displayed on the Council’s Twitter and Facebook pages.
The only conditions for entries were that the photo had to be taken in the MK Borough area and included a bicycle or part of.
The four winners were chosen by Cllr Hannah O’Neill, Deputy Leader of the Council and keen cyclist, and Peter Cox at British Cycling.
The winners are:
- Steve Stones
- Carys Underwood
- Helen Cooke
- Anthony Smith
The winners have all been invited to Civic Offices to choose an envelope containing their prize which will be one of the following:
- A Family ticket MK Dons game this season*
- An Aviva Women’s Series Cap signed by Katie Archibald and Hannah Barnes.
- A family ticket to an MK Lightening Ice Hockey match.
- Skyride cycling bib signed by Sir Chris Hoy
