The most magical time of year is just around the corner and that can only mean one thing – a whole host of festive new activities at Frosts Garden Centre in Woburn Sands.

Santa’s arrival marks the beginning of the holiday season for so many people in Milton Keynes, and this year is set to be as enchanting as ever.

At 4pm on Saturday, November 14, Santa will officially arrive at Woburn Sands to open his magical grotto to the public.

He will arrive in a merry parade with his trusty elves in tow, ready to make Christmas extra special for little ones.

The ever-popular, sell-out family experience lasts just over 45 minutes and is the ultimate way to visit Santa in his festive wonderland.

The adventure starts with a festive sing-song with his excitable elves who love nothing more than getting children into the Christmas spirit.

Then it’s on to the next room to make some reindeer food ready to leave out on Christmas Eve for Rudolf and the gang.

The enchanted journey finishes in Santa’s living room with a story read by the big man himself.

A firm favourite with families across Milton Keynes, Frosts’ unique, award-winning grotto is the ultimate Santa experience for the perfect family Christmas.

The grotto runs until Wednesday, December 23 – and some days are already sold out so customers are advised to hurry! Tickets cost £9.99 per child and £4.49 per adult, photos cost £5.99.

> Ice Skating at Frosts

As well as the grotto, the Frosts’ real ice skating rink is back from Saturday, November 28, and will be in place until Sunday 3 January.

Surrounded by Christmas lights, the ice rink has a magical feel that will get the whole family into the festive spirit.

Make a day of it and enjoy a delicious hot chocolate and a snack at the ice rink café. Tickets cost £8.99 per adult and £7.99 per child, or £14.99 for one adult and one toddler under four.

There are special skating evenings lined up from Monday 30 November until Thursday 17 December, ask in centre for details and to book.

The Disco on Ice takes place on Friday 18 December; this fun filled evening comes with complimentary mulled wine for the grownups and glow sticks for the kids.

The Ice Bar will be open all night and hot food will be available to purchase.

Skate the night away with music and unlimited ice skating from 7pm-10pm. Tickets cost £14.99 each.

The ever-popular Festive Family Fun Night will be held on Sunday, December 20.

Enjoy a welcome drink and mince pie on arrival, and expect a fun filled evening of unlimited skating, a family magic show, games on the ice rink, a BBQ meal and dessert, as well as a goodie bag for children to take home.

Family tickets are £100 for a family of four and individual tickets are £30.
