Witness appeal after restaurant robbery

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a 53-year-old man was robbed of his takings in Stony Stratford on Tuesday, August 2.

The victim, who works at a Chinese restaurant, was walking back to his car along Russell Street into Anthony Court, when he was approached by three men in dark clothing and balaclavas at about 12.30am.

The men pushed the victim to the floor and searched him, stealing a quantity of cash, a mobile phone and other personal belongings. The victim suffered minor injuries during the incident.

The men, who are all described as white, made off towards Russell Street School.

Det Con Darren Street, based at Milton Keynes CID, is appealing for witnesses to the incident, or anyone who saw the men in the area prior to or following the offence.
