Witness appeal following robbery of pizza delivery man in Milton Keynes

Police are appealing for witnesses after man delivering pizza was robbed in Fishermead, Milton Keynes.

The incident happend at around 9.50pm on Wednesday, June 3, at the junction of Gurnards Avenue in Porthleven Place, when the victim, 34, was approached by a man who had been sitting on a bench with a woman.

The man told the victim to give him the pizza. When he refused and walked away the offender ran at the victim and punched him in the face. They both fell to the ground with the attacker continuing to punch the victim, while stealing cash from his pocket.

Two witnesses intervened and managed to come to the aid of the victim, who sustained cuts and grazing to his head and hands, and bruising to his right eye. The man and woman then walked off.

The attacker is white, approximately 6ft tall, slim build, around 40 years of age, with short black curly hair and stubble. He was wearing a black zip-up puffer-style jacket andlight blue jeans.

He had an Eastern European accent and told the victim that he was Albanian.

The woman is white, approximately 5ft 7ins tall, stocky build, in her mid-to-late 30s, with short light-brown hair with a short ponytail. She was wearing a bright-coloured matching tracksuit bottoms and top. She also had an Eastern European accent.
