A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD had a spook-tacular time when he was named ‘Best Dressed Boy’ at a special Halloween event.

Alex Kingsman, who attends Willen Primary School, dressed as a wizard for the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre’s Half-Term Wednesday Spooky Halloween Event.

Alex’s costume was made up of various older costumes, including Power Rangers and Santa Claus outfits.

The Visitor Centre and passenger train were spookily decorated, volunteers dressed up in Hallowe’en costumes, and `witches` read spooky stories throughout the day in the Cinema Coach.

Organiser Sheila Lobley said, “This was our most successful event ever – we have never had so many entries for our Hallowe’en Fancy Dress competition.” Alex won a Halloween Torch for his efforts.

Other children in the Fancy Dress Parade also won small gifts from the centre’s gift shop.
