Police in Milton Keynes are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision in Milton Keynes.

At 8.15pm on Saturday (October 6), there was a three vehicle collision on the A5 dual carriageway southbound, near Little Brickhill, Milton Keynes.

It involved a grey BMW, a white Mercedes Benz and a black Toyota Yaris.

As a result of the collision, a 19-year-old woman sustained serious head and leg injuries and was taken to Milton Keynes University Hospital where she remains.

A 23-year-old man was also treated at the same hospital for shoulder and chest injuries, and discharged on the same day.

Investigating officer PC Neil Stephenson said: “This was a bad road traffic collision which resulted in the victims needing hospital treatment.

“We are appealing for anyone who may have seen this incident, or has dash-cam footage which captured it to contact police.”
