A 46-year old passenger was airlifted to hospital after a road traffic collision on the M1.

The woman was a passenger in a car which left the motorway and ended up in a ditch close to Junction 14 on October 30.

Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) were called to the incident at 10:43 and arrived at the scene at 11:02.

On arrival, the patient complained of neck and hip pain. She was immobilised and given morphine before being taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital. The driver was uninjured in the collision.
