The woman who died after falling from the third floor of a multi-storey car park at Midsummer Place has been named as Moon Mcleod.

The inquest into her death will be opened at 2pm on Friday at Crownhill Crematorium.

Martin Hindson, centre manager for Midsummer Place, said: “Regrettably there was an incident at the centre on Saturday, April 13 at approximately 8.50am that resulted in the death of a female. Our security team responded immediately to the situation and administered first aid while waiting for the emergency services. During this time the area was cordoned off. Our sincerest condolences go out to the victim’s family.”
