STAFF of a leading city charity are riding even higher after securing sponsorship for its grand ball.

The event, to be hosted by BBC presenter Jeremy Vine, has won the backing of accountancy firm MacIntyre Hudson which is sponsoring the event.

The event, the highlight of Milton Keynes’ autumn calendar, is to be held at stadium:mk on Friday, September 23.

Rachel Medill, chairman of Ride High, said: “I am delighted that MacIntyre Hudson will be sponsoring the ball. We are particularly pleased to be supported by a company that has a major presence in Milton Keynes and one that has particular expertise in charity support since its merger with Gotham Erskine

“We currently provide services to 70 of Milton Keynes’ most desperate children and next year we would like to increase that number to 100. Without the funds from this major event this just will not be possible so we are thrilled to welcome MacIntyre Hudson as sponsors alongside the MK Citizen.”

The charity will be aiming to raise as much money as possible for the good work it does helping improve the prospects of some of the city’s most disadvantaged children.
