Young volunteers from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association Milton Keynes converged on the streets of Oakridge Park and Stanton Low Park last weekend to take part in the Clean for the Queen initiative.

Local AMYA youth leader Waqas Khokhar said: “Our members have enjoyed living in Milton Keynes for decades and so any opportunity to help our local community is a much-welcomed one.

“Cleaning the streets also presents us with an opportunity to become better Muslims as cleanliness in Islam is an important part of a Muslim’s faith.”
