Milton Keynes based charity Ride High is offering eight readers of the Citizen the chance to be Jeremy Vine’s guests at its High Diamond Ball on Saturday, November 15.

Double Diamond tickets include entry to the VIP reception where you will be personally introduced to

BBC TV & Radio 2 presenter Jeremy Vine, seated at his table and have your official photograph taken with him. These exclusive Double Diamond tickets normally cost £160 per head but available for Milton Keynes Citizen readers for just £100 per head. The eight tickets will go to the first eight people to

email tickets@ridehigh.org with the subject line ‘Citizen Double Diamond’.

Jeremy Vine, has been the charity’s patron since 2009 when he met some of the children at the Ride

High centre, and joins the charity at its fifth annual ball which aims to raise £60,000.

He said: “I’m so pleased to be heading back to Milton Keynes to support Ride High, especially

on such an important night for the charity. Based on previous experience I can assure you that you are

in for a wonderful evening of dinner, dancing and entertainment. Every penny raised will go towards

helping the Milton Keynes children who need it most.”

The ball is a black tie evening including a sparkling drinks reception, three-course meal, live and silent auctions including ‘money can’t buy’ items and dancing to an international live band.

Ride High is a Milton Keynes charity for disadvantaged children. It aims to change the lives of children

aged eight-17 by giving them the opportunity to ride and care for horses, by building their confidence and

self-esteem, improving life skills such as communication and team work and facilitating routes to further

education and employment.

The children that Ride High supports may be living in foster care, have been excluded from mainstream

education, they may be suicidal or self-harming, they may be living in poverty or deprivation or be young

carers for a family member. This year the charity has supported 10 young people who were NEET (Not

in Education Employment or Training) as they took steps to return to school or college.

> T&Cs: There is a maximum of two tickets per email application. The offer is available only on the

first eight tickets to be claimed (pending completed payment).

The Ride High Diamond Ball takes place at Jurys Inn, Central Milton Keynes.
