YourMK trade day proves a success for Milton Keynes

YourMK, the company set up as a partnership of Mears Group and Milton Keynes Council, held a very successful day for local tradespeople and business last week.

More than 130 local businesses were represented to hear David Gleeson from YourMK and Tim Carpenter from Mears talk about their vision to deliver quality services and regeneration for the city and set out the huge opportunity this presents for local trades.

The event was held to engage with local trade to encourage and support them to bid for work with YourMK.

We know that there are lots of excellent businesses in this area who will be able to offer good services at a competitive price and we’re determined to create local jobs and use local skills to generate local value for Milton Keynes,” said David Gleeson.
