Lions make it four in England squad
Milton Keynes Lions U15 team are feeling a real sense of achievement – they now have a total of four players who are part of the England Basketball Development squad.

Hard work and dedication for all four of the boys has paid off and they are now firmly setting their sights on securing their part in the squad for the European Championships in 2009 and 2010.

Lions are developing plenty of opportunities for these and other players and have played a huge part in their development.

Winning the National Championships for the past two successive years has helped put Milton Keynes basketball on the map.

And Vince Macaulay, Lions' chief executive, said: "These boys have worked hard and continue to train hard. We intend to see plenty of our other players joining these top ranking individuals."

Congratulations to all four boys representing Milton Keynes while flying the England flag. If you are interested in joining a local youth basketball club please check out www.mklions.com
