Youngster leads the way in city cycling
Hannah Barnes has been crowned the Milton Keynes Cycling Association's Cyclist of the Year for the 2009 season.
The 16-year-old had a great 12 months, winning seven British Championships in her age group and has also been signed to racing team Motorpoint-Marshalls Pasta for the forthcoming season.
The award - in memory of Andy Hardy, a successful city racer who passed away some 10 years ago - was presented to the youngster at the Team Milton Keynes prize presentation evening last week.
It's been a fantastic couple of years for city cycling, with Ian Stannard currently taking on Europe's finest in the Belgian Classics series after just returning from a superb tour of Oman and Qatar with his Team Sky team.
