Youngster stars for Cavill Academy
During October half term Milton Keynes-based Cavill Academy spent their week competing in Bucks and beyond.

The highlight of the week was 10-year old Kyle MacQueen's' victory at the On The Line Sports LTA Grade 4 Tournament at the Riverside TC in Bedford.

After a strange week of weather, there was nothing strange about Kyle's performance and confidence throughout the week.

His level of consistency and self belief was present through each round, Kyle dropping only five games in all of his sets to reach the final where he faced a solid opponent in Carl Webb. But Kyle's fitness proved decisive as he won the final 6-0, 6-1.

Cavill Academy director John Cavill said: "Kyle's approach and attitude has improved immensely. "He has been working hard in training to improve his tactical play and hopefully this is a sign of things to come."
