In just his first full season Richard Green is earning himself a growing reputation from the hugely competitive sport that is motorcycle racing.
Riding his Triumph 675 bike which he prepares himself, Richard has set about making a name among the country's top stars.
And throwing himself into the deep end, he recently entered the Triumph Triple Challenge at Bemsee Race Club against 26 of the country's top riders.
But despite the fact that it was just his second ever race meet, the Milton Keynes rider picked up his first three trophies, taking third spot in the TDG Cup plus second and third place finishes in the Rookie 600 class.
After being so successful in his first few races, Richard was left totally devastated when he was clipped by another rider and left him with a severely broke arm, which required three operations, two metal plates and 12 screws.
But after just seven weeks out Richard was back in the saddle when he picked up two third places from a meet in France.
He then returned to the site of his injury at Cadwell Park where he claimed another trophy from the Triumph Triple Challenge.
And he currently sits sixth in his championship despite having missed three out of the seven rounds so far.
These results are made even more impressive given that Richard is currently competing on a standard Triumph 675, while most others in the class have been riding highly tuned SuperSport bikes which produce far more power.
But having already achieved such outstanding results in only his first year of racing, Richard is confident of going a long way in the sport he loves.
And he'll get a taste of the big time when he heads to Silverstone next month as a support class to British SuperBikes.
