Sports Acrobatic Summer Tournament
MK Springers sent a team to take part in the South region Sports Acrobatic Summer Tournament.
A total of 15 gymnasts from the club took part in floor and tumbling. And for many of the partnerships and groups it was their first time competing together.
First on floor was new trio of Harriet Evans, Annastasia Squires and Alex Tompkins, the girls performing a lovely Level One routine and unfortunate to be placed just outside the medal positions.
Competing in the Prep A group Lucy Jackson and Holly O'Brien were again unlucky to miss out while men's pair Kyle Aryis and Cameron Lambert won the judges over with their humorous routine.
In Prep B Jessica Cutting and Natalie Keyte came away with silver medals after a very close floor routine.
In Level One pairs Harriet and Annastasia were unlucky not to achieve a medal.
And in Level Two the experience of Sian Evans/Ruth O'Donnell showed as they came away with gold.
On tumble track there was a huge entry for the Regional Two level, but Natalie Keyte still came away with silver.
In Regional Level Four Eleanor Broome and Jessica Cutting came away with gold and silver respectively.
And in National Three Sian Evans achieving a gold medal, her second of the day.
Club manager Felicity Candler-O'Donnell said: "This competition has shown us how much these gymnasts have achieved since last year.
"They've competed against the best clubs in the southern region and we have walked away with golds and silvers."
