E-fit released after elderly man is targeted in unprovoked attack in Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police has released an E-fit in an appeal for information following an assault in Milton Keynes.

At around 5.40pm on Thursday July 21, the victim, a 78-year-old man, was walking in the underpass beneath the H6 Childs Way between Teardrop Lakes, Loughton, towards the train station, when a man suddenly punched him in the chest without warning, causing bruising and swelling.

The victim attended hospital but has since been discharged.

“This was a totally unprovoked attack in which an elderly man was targeted,” said Investigating officer PC Edmund Blackburn.

“I would urge anyone who thinks they may recognise the offender from the E-fit, or who witnessed anything in the area of the underpass at the time of the incident, to contact me on 101 giving reference number 43160200885.”
