Robin McCoy, aged 28, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty at Aylesbury Crown Court on Monday to one count of burglary dwelling.

On 17 June 2016 between 8am and 6.30pm, McCoy forced entry to a property in Hanslope by smashing the conservatory windows.

He did not steal anything.

A further 11 burglary and theft offences across Milton Keynes, Aylesbury and Bedfordshire were taken into consideration at court.

He was sentenced at the same court hearing to four years and six months’ imprisonment.

“This sentence sends a clear message to those who commit these type of offences that due to the impact that burglaries have on the victims we will pursue every line of enquiry to bring offenders to justice,” said investigating officer Det Con Sam Reynolds.
