MK Dons secured the League Two title with an exciting win away at 10-man Bradford.
A quick-fire first half double from Jude Stirling and Lloyd Dyer was enough to win the championship with a game to spare.

The home side had Joe Colbeck sent off on 39 minutes before getting a goal back through Omar Daley on the stroke of half time.

But despite a spirited second half effort from Bradford, Dons held on for a record equalling 18th away win of the season.

Peterborough did win at Grimsby, but it didn't matter.

The home side had started well but visitors still raced into a two goal lead.

The first came on 14 minute as Dyer done brilliantly down the left as he escaped the attentions of Colbeck and just curled in a tempting cross into the corridor of uncertainty that Stirling headed home at the back post.

Seconds later they could have been level as Kyle Nix got on the end of Barry Conlon's flick-on, he scuffed a shot past Willy Gueret but Carl Regan cleared off the line.

And they were made to pay as Dons doubled their lead. This time Stirling repaid the favour to Dyer as the winger stole into the box unmarked to volley his long throw into the net first time.

Dons looked in control from then and the task looked to be getting easier when Colbeck crunched in on Lewington with his studs showing and was shown his marching orders.

It looked like the title was in the bag after that but Bradford gave themselves a fighting chance on the stroke of half time when Omar Daley intercepted Danny Swailes poor pass, beat two men and slotted well past Gueret.

Although Dons should have still taken a two goal lead in at the break as Wright had a close range header kept out at the back post by Loach.

Bradford started the second half well and could have equalised inside the first 10 minutes but Andrews just rose high enough to head Mark Bower's header off the line.

Both teams continued to play with passion, but struggled to fashion out chances.

Wilbraham could have wrapped up the title with 15 minutes to go in a moment that was like something out of a comedy sketch.

Loach rolled the ball out and took his time over his kick only to find the striker who was still jogging back, knick the ball of his toe, sprint past him and fire a left foot shot that hit the bar and rebounded back into the keeper's arms.

Bradford were leaving themselves a tad open at the back and substitute John Miles then almost sealed the win but his volley was just cleared off the line by David Wetherall.

But they were still throwing everything at the Dons and with a minute to go should earned a point but Peter Thorne somehow blasted over from point blank range.

And they were to rue that miss at the final whistle blew moments after and the Dons' travelling army of supporters celebrated in style.
