Roberto Di Matteo seen at Dons training ground.
MK Today can reveal that former Chelsea star Roberto Di Matteo is in line to become the new manager of MK Dons after being spotted at Woughton-on-the-Green yesterday (Monday).

The former Italian international midfielder was seen getting out of chairman Pete Winkelman's car with his agent.

They then spent a few minutes inside the pavilion, where Dons players were getting ready for their first day of pre-season training.

The pair then returned to Winkelman's car and made a quick-exit.

Although a deal has not yet been finalised, Di Matteo is now believed
to have held extended talks with the Dons' chairman and is the club's firm favourite for the manager's position.
