Hannah Swan completed a notable double in the the first junior knockout badminton tournament at Shenley Leisure Centre.
The Carlton-backed event organised by the Milton Keynes and District Badminton Association saw Hannah beat Bethany Lau 21-4, 21-10 in the under 12 singles and she then partnerted Bethany to a 21-5, 21-7 win over Alice Torjussen and Melissa Jones in the doubles.

Over 70 players took part and the association's special thanks went to loyal sponsors Carlton and to the Shenley Leisure Centre staff.

Thanks were also passed on to all the helpers and parents and to tournament secretary Tiek How Liew and his wife and once again all were thoroughly impressed with the high standard of play.
