OLYMPIAN Andrew Baggaley was feeling brave earlier this week when he challenged world heavyweight boxing champion Vitali Klitschko to a bout of... table tennis.
Baggaley was knocked out of London 2012 at the first hurdle when his Team GB side lost to Portugal in the first round.
But not lacking confidence, the 29-year-old responded to a tweet from Klitschko – who posted a picture of himself enjoying a game of table tennis as part of a training session – with a proposition.
Baggaley tweeted: “Vitali Klitschko, I know you can beat us British when you have the gloves on, but will you take ME on at a game of TABLE TENNIS? It’s a challenge!!”
However, Klitschko, 41, who is in training for an upcoming fight against Manuel Charr and is also the leader of a political party in his native Ukraine, has not yet responded.
