The final games of the table tennis league season take place next week, with the runners- up place in the Premier Division still up for grabs.

Only three points separate the teams behind champions MK Spinners. In the final week 2nd placed Respect 1st Consulting Kaisers play 4th placed Greenleys Monarchs and 3rd placed MK Kingpins play MK Stormers. Any of these teams could yet get the runner-up spot.

It’s between MK Phoenix and MK Powers for the runners-up place in Division One, with only one point between them, although Powers have to play leaders OU Pavilion in their final game.

It’s between MK Bandits and MK Hydra for the Division Two title. Hydra will have 10 points as Greenleys Princes cannot raise a team, which means Bandits need four points from their final game to win the division.

MK Musketeers and WS Mosquitoes secured their survival in Division Three last week by both winning against the teams below them, Greenleys Warriors and Padbury Night Owls.

Division Four has a fight for relegation between MK Cavaliers, Mursley Swifts and Mursley Meths, with only one point between them. Swifts and Meths play each other but Cavaliers play top of the table OU Falcons.

In most of the other divisions it’s now clear who will be champions and runners-up, except in Division Six where the battle for second place is between Respect 1st Consulting Tigers and Stony Stratford Crickets, although Crickets do have to play runaway leaders Greenleys Cardinals.
