>> MK Springers sent 66 competitors to the Bucks Acro and Tumbling Open. Competing against seven other top clubs from the south east, 49 of their gymnasts went home with Bucks medals, while 43 also earned medals in the Open competition.
Springers won 12 gold, eight silver and nine bronze medals to top the table. The club’s coaches were also using the event as a selection process for the Regional Championships in November. Therefore merely winning a medal was not enough – the scores would also need to be high.
