CITY of Milton Keynes Swim Club enjoyed a great start to the year by winning four titles on the first day of the Oxford & North Bucks Championships.

Not just that, but the titles won also saw two county and a British record broken.

Ben Flaherty was the star of the show as he won the boys’ 1500m freestyle in a county record time, while also breaking the 800m record in the process.

Lucy Chenery then smashed her own British disability record in the girls’ 800m freestyle event, and county titles were also won by Christian Revell, Charlotte Evans and Emma Joyce.
