The Bletchley-born gold medallist officially opened the garden launch, which also marked the official re-naming of the school formerly known as Wolverton Mill Day Nursery and Pre-school.

The nursery has invested £55,000 in its outdoor areas, creating a fantastic outdoor play and education facilities for children of all ages at the nursery, featuring a ace track, wooden climbing frame and water pump.

Greg was joined by his partner Susie Verill and their new baby boy Milo, and the family were shown round the nursery by nursery manager Sara Deacon.

Nursery manager Sara Deacon said: “It was great to see so many families enjoying our new facilities in the sunshine, giving us a fantastic opportunity to show off what we do here on a daily basis.

“Greg was genuinely interested about how the children learn and develop here at the nursery and we felt privileged to have him and his family, here to share the day with us.”
