League finishes on a perfect note as MK athletes take victory in their final outing

History was made at Stantonbury at the weekend as the MMKAC under13/15 team won the final match in the Midlands Premier Youth Development League.

Having been second to defending champions Rugby & Northampton in the previous three matches, MK made good use of home advantage to win by 37points.

Moyin Oduyemi was one of the stars for the U13 girls, winning both the 75m and 150m races with times of 10.06 and 19.44. And for good measure, she won the shot B final (7.54m) and was part of the successful 4x100 team (55.09).

Asher Cliff-Afemar won the high jump with 1.47m, and Lara Moffat won the shot with 8.09m.

In the U13 boys, George Ho won the 100m(12.74) and then teamed up with Yinka Adelowo, Thomas Chalmers and Chad Wilson to win the 4 x 100m relay in 53.92.

Yinka was second in the 200m. Pemiwa Aderoju won the high jump(1.40m) and both “B” 75mhurdles and javelin. Over 1500m Aidan Murphy(5.05.12) won the “B” race.

In the U15 boys, Ethan Wiltshire took victory in the 200m (23.39).

A high jump double from Sam Featherstone (1.68m) and Ben Stacey(1.60m) and then in the shot from James Palmer (10.49m) and James Frith (9.68m). James then won the javelin(42.11m) as James Ericsson-Nicholls won the hammer throwing 46.57m
