The Concrete Cows continued their good form on Sunday as they crushed Leicester’s Dolly Rocket Rollers, but it wasn’t such good news for the Quads of War.
The female Cows team got MK off to a great start against the Dolly Rocket Rollers, dominating from the off.
A series of strong plays in the first half meant they took a 120-39 point in with them at the break, building on it in the second half to take a 221-79 victory.
It means they climbed an impressive 19 places in the European rankings to 76th.
But the male Quads of War team took on a fierce South Wales Silures side, and they were well beaten.
Despite having two World Cup stars among their ranks, Silures were just too strong for the Quads, who gave it their all but were on the wrong end of the 371-29 score line.
The Cows’ next game is against Bedfordshire Rollergirls in Eastbourne on Saturday June 7, and Quads of War take on Lincolnshire Rolling Thunder in Grantham on Sunday May 3.
