Despite being bowled out for 158, their bowlers did the business to clear out Biddenham for just 126 to pick up 30 points and move well clear of the bottom two.

Aspley Guise (255-8) remain rock bottom despite a winning draw against New Bradwell (218-9). David Quick top scored for the home side with 59.

A huge 197 run partnership between Nimesh Chavda (101) and Nick Hillman (102) couldn’t help Milton Keynes (288-5) beat big-scoring Elstow (291-4) as MK remain fourth in the standings.

Reigning champions North Crawley (141-9) squeezed past Olney (140), despite Stuart Keeping’s 5-14, to move level on points with MK above them.

DIVISION 3:

Westcroft couldn’t take the decisive wicket against Division 3 leaders Harlington to win, but closed the gap ever so slightly at the top of the table.

Asah Shah top scored with 42 for Westcroft, but they were bowled out for an achievable looking 140.

Saud Shah’s bowling was a thorn in the side for the leaders though, as he took 4-21. Harlington though held on to their final wicket, finishing on 122-9, handing Westcroft 13 points to their 11, though their lead is 48 points.

Shenley Church End (179-5) saw off Milton Bryan (176-8) as Graham Teagle took 4-22, and Amin Lalli hit 51.

New City 2nds (68) were thumped by Wilden (235-7) while Westcroft 2nds (161) beat Drayton Parslow (154) as Mohammad Ishtiaq Uddin took a brilliant 6-18 with the ball.

DIVISION 5:

North Crawley 2nds’ woes continued in Division 5 as they were bowled out for 20 by Thurleigh (21-0) to remain in the relegation zone.

New Bradwell 2nds (200-2) saw off Eggington Foreesters 2nds (198-9) thanks to 57 from Ian Godfrey and 78 from Carl Ward.

MK 2nds (212-8) beat Lidlington (141) and Great Brickhill 3rds (122-9) lost to Soulbury (125-2).

DIVISION 6:

In Division 6, Newport Pagnell 2nds lost out to promotion hopefuls Eaton Bray 2nds.

Despite a half century from Ian Halsall (53), Newport’s total of 222-9 wasn’t enough.

Despite taking an early wicket, Jonathan Marum (73) and Russell Bennett (69) did the damage for Eaton Bray (224-4).

DIVISION 7:

Westcroft 2nds (206-8, Ijaz Hussain 88) are still top of Division 7 despite drawing with Wing 2nds (266).

Printers 2nds (194) beat Ivinghoe & Pitstone 2nds (147-8).
