Stony lose again after poor batting performance

Stony Stratford lost again in Northants League Premier Division, going down by six wickets to Old Northamptonians.

Teja Nidamanuru top scored for Stony with 57, with Vicram Sohal adding 46 but Stony limped to just 168 as the rest of the order struggled against the ON’s bowling attack.

And with the ball in hand, Stony came unstuck with opener Thomas Hafil scoring an unbeaten 63 as ON’s (169-4) cruised to victory in 32 overs.

Stony remain third from bottom of the table on 96 points.
