Milton Keynes move up to third in Division One courtesy of a five wicket win over bottom club Newport Pagnell.
Despite losing opener Liam Fox (3) early, Paul Braddy top scored with 53 for Newport but the rest of the batsmen didn’t add much resistance.
Grant Ebrahim was the star with the ball for MK, taking 4-38 as the home side fell for 179.
The Milton Keynes response was swift. The top order all made good scores, with Nimesh Chavda hitting 50 before being trapped LBW to Brian Schmidt.
Nick Hillman (43) and Neil Gordon (42) both added valuable runs before Jalil Sear (17) hit the winning score as MK (181-5) ran home five wicket winners.
Daniel Broad was the pick of the bowlers for Newport, taking 3-39.
