Two young brothers from Olney were on the podium at the National Bowl as part of the Go Ride series.
Olney Infant Academy pupil Fraser MacArthur has been crowned winner in the under 6s, while his brother Connor took secnd place in the under 8s in the ‘Go Ride’ Cycling Championship for 2014, by Team MK.
Go-Ride, sponsored by Sky, is British Cycling’s development programme for young cyclists.
The programme provides a fun and safe way to introduce young riders to the world of cycle sport and provides a platform to improve their bike handling skills.
Young riders from numerous cycling clubs have been battling throughout the summer in the ‘Go-Ride’ Racing series, gaining valuable points for each race.
The pair have competed in individual Time Trials, off-road Mountain Bike races and group Road races throughout the summer - all based at the Bowl.
Fraser, aged just four, was crowned overall champion, achieving the most number of outright wins, along with first place at the end of the season in all three individual disciplines, with Cara Walsh second place and Amelia Morris in third.
Connor, six, won the Mountain bike U8 title, along with second place overall, with Tristan Hargreaves champion, and Toby Zygo in third place.
