Fed up with Milton Keynes being treated like a political football?

Then head to stadium:mk on Monday, when the Shadow Cabinet will play a fundraising football tournament.

The likes of Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls, left, and other
senior Labour figures will take part in the event, which kicks off at 7pm.

There will also be a social event after the match, where the politicians will talk about local and national issues.

Ed Balls is known for
being a keen footballer, but
recently made headlines at this month’s annual football game between senior Labour Party figures and political journalists.

Mr Balls clashed with
reporter Rob Merrick during the match at the Etihad
Stadium, catching the
journalist with his elbow.

Both players later
described the incident as an accidental collision.

The MP was also involved in a controversial incident in the same game two years ago when he won and converted a penalty.

Tickets for the event are £20.
